Shadow Walk

1984 & 1996, Sennott Park, Cambridge, MA (permanent)

This welded stainless steel sculpture has lacy walls based on brick and mortar patterns. As the sun moves across the sky, it casts changing shadow patterns on the ground. Commissioned by the Cambridge Arts Council in 1984, the piece was first installed in the playground area of a park, then moved to a grassy area along a pathway in 1996.
