Parachute Project

1976, Kansas City Art Institute, MO

Made by cutting and resewing recycled army parachutes, this project was a collaboration between the Foundations and Sculpture Departments at the Kansas City Art Institute. The sculptures float above the rooftops in the central quadrangle of the school. The piece shown in the photos is the one I helped design and build.
